Business areas
The business parks of Hillerød are primarily concentrated in the south-west of the municipality. We have three main business areas.
The business area of Trolleminde is the home of many large companies in the region. Novo Nordic, Biogen Idec and Foss Analytical are all located here. It also hosts medium-sized companies such as Ellab and is home to Hillerød's new town hall and a number of educational institutions.
The business parks of Rønnevang and Tolvkarlevang are mixed areas that host small trade and service businesses and medium-sized production companies. The business parks are located within 1½ kilometres of Hillerød town centre, close to major roads and the motorway to Copenhagen. Public transport is frequent and easy to use, with buses to Hillerød centre and Hillerød station from where local trains depart every ten minutes during the day to Copenhagen city centre. There are also trains to the towns of Helsingør and Frederiksværk and to the north coast, as well as an extensive network of regional bus routes.
