NEW INITIATIVE TO HELP DANISH ENTREPRENEURS

Feb. 3, 2012 | Topic: Business conditions

An initiative with the catchy name of Fablab is opening in Copenhagen. It will aid Danish entrepreneurs in their quest to construct prototypes.

Moving from an initial idea to creating a physical project can now be realised without the entrepreneur having to order multiple copies of a product that has not yet been finalized, writes the Danish website ingeniøren.dk

The American concept Fablab has come to Denmark to assist entrepreneurs in developing prototypes. The Fablab movement started at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the US and has diffused to a number of capitals in Europe.

Væksthus Sjælland , Næstved Municipality and Realdania are behind the first Danish Fablab, which will open in Næstved
